Account Manager

The Account Manager will be responsible for retaining, managing and growing existing accounts and working to both individual and team targets. The Account Manager will liaise with all other Inhealthcare departments to effectively act as a point of contact in order to manage our customers. This is a fast paced role that will involve you working across multiple projects at any one time. 

The purpose of the role is to service the needs of the customers throughout the length of an engagement, and to act as a liaison among the internal departments to gather and communicate all relevant facts required to manage various projects and deliver on the customer’s needs. 


It is expected that responsibilities will include but not be exclusive of any other role requirements; 

  • Increase revenues and profitability per customer in line with commission plan by; 
  • Managing an assigned client account portfolio 
  • Communicating and liaising with key internal and external stakeholders 
  • Building and maintaining existing customer relationships 
  • Work with the BDM on creating and updating Account Plans 
  • Work with customer to ensure key expectations and milestones are met 
  • Work with colleagues to ensure customers’ expectations are met 
  • Raising and assigning tasks to internal teams to ensure delivery SLAs are met 
  • Ensure a full understanding of the customers service and requirements 
  • Regular customer follow ups via email and phone 
  • Regular update meetings with existing customers discussing; 
  • Patient numbers 
  • Service reports 
  • Issues and concerns 
  • Expanding opportunities 
  • Contract renewals with support of BDM 
  • Recording all communications and deployment progress on Salesforce 
  • Attending events which will be Nationwide 
  • Working with the Marketing team on promotion materials such as case studies and brochures 
  • Working with the Product Team on customer service requests and improvements 
  • Working with the Professional Services Team on customer training requirements and documentation 
  • Triaging incoming support requests and ensuring they are resolved to the appropriate SLA 
  • Regular update reviews with the Business Development Manager on all accounts 


Desired skills & experience

  • Desired experience in Account Management or Business Development 
  • Strong customer service experience 
  • Able to create and deliver your own presentations to a range of stakeholders 
  • Must be able to work in a start-up environment 
  • Proven ability to manage relationships 
  • Be a critical and analytical thinker 
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills 
  • Very strong organisational skills 
  • Ability to multi-task priorities and projects, while balancing short and long term objectives

Responsible for ensuring that they are aware of the security policies and procedures of the Information Security Management System (ISO27001) and how these specifically relate to the information resources they have access to. 

All security events, whether suspected or actual, must be reported immediately to the Information Security Manager on detection, without exception, including underperforming or broken processes that may lead to information leakage or a security breach.
