SQL Developer

Inhealthcare provides a digital healthcare platform to the NHS. Continuing expansion has led to the need for a SQL Developer. This is an exciting opportunity to work with leading edge technologies alongside the core platform development team and the professional services development team.

The primary responsibilities of the SQL Developer are to gather, understand and document requirements, and turn these into data extracts, data feeds, and data sources and to produce dashboards and reports using various BI tools.


Key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Gathering, documenting and understanding requirements
  • Using SQL to turn these requirements into data extracts, data feeds or data sources as appropriate
  • Modelling, and building reports and dashboards using various BI tools including AWS QuickSight and Power BI
  • Query tuning and volume testing
  • Test automation
  • Presenting to customer teams, and gathering feedback
  • Creating user guides in accordance with the company‚Äôs documented processes
  • Working collaboratively within the team
  • Creating working demonstrations for pre-sales activities
  • Providing 3rd level support as appropriate
  • Ensuring that procedures are continually improved and maintained
  • Some nationwide travel to meet with customers

The ideal candidate will have excellent SQL skills gain across a variety of databases, and will have worked in data migration, data streaming, data warehousing or data lake environments. Ideally they will also have worked with BI tools and have a sound understanding of dimensional data modelling.

  • Evidence of working within a team
